After decades of being exclusively focused on postgraduate education, this prestigious institution is now opening its doors to students directly after Class 12, offering world-class business education at the undergraduate level.  

Undergraduate Courses Offered by IIM Bangalore

IIM Bangalore currently offers three distinct undergraduate programs designed to cater to different learning preferences and career aspirations:

1. BSc Honours in Economics (with minor in Data Science and Business)

This four-year full-time residential program combines economic theory with statistical inference, econometrics, and behavioral insights, underpinned by data mining and applied business learning. The curriculum is designed for real-world relevance, prioritizing analytical depth, contextual thinking, and professional readiness through internships, global exposure, and life-skill development.

2. BSc Honours in Data Science (with minor in Economics and Business)

This comprehensive four-year program blends rigorous training in stochastic processes, algorithms, data structures, and psychology with applied business learning. Students gain expertise in modern data science techniques while developing a strong foundation in business principles and economic understanding.

3. BBA in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship (DBE)

Launched in 2024, this three-year online program integrates digital technology, business management, and entrepreneurship to train leaders for the digital business world. The program offers flexibility for working professionals and students who cannot relocate, making quality management education accessible to a broader audience.  

Admission Process and Eligibility Criteria

For BSc Honours Programs (Economics and Data Science)

  Eligibility Requirements:

• Completion of Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board
• Mathematics in Class 12 with minimum 60% marks (mandatory)
• 60% or above in Class 10
• Age limit: 20 years (General), 22 years (Reserved) as of August 1, 2025

Admission Process:

• Applications open in September 2025
• First batch starts in August 2026
• Selection via national-level entrance exam + personal interview
• 40 students per program (total 80)
• Conducted at the new Jigani campus

For BBA in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship

  Eligibility Requirements:

• Class 12 with 60% marks (General/NC-OBC/EWS)
• 55% marks for SC/ST/PwD
• Open to Indian nationals only

Admission Pathways:

• Path 1: IIMB DBE Entrance Test 2025
• Path 2: Valid CUET (UG) or JEE Main scores (2023–2025)
